Scored railcar (SRC) rupture disc

AMETEK Ameron hereby provide rupture disc for pressurized railcars at constant risk of explosion due to improper or changing pressurization. Scored railcar (SRC) rupture disc meets AAR standards and protects against railcar explosions. The scored disc in the SRC allows for a solid metal disc that eliminates the possibility of leaks. This SRC rupture disc is designed to fit standard threaded or bolted railroad tank car safety vents.

• 3.15” O.D
• Scored disc ruptures at 140 - 165 psig
• Fits standard threaded or bolted railroad tank car safety vent
• Consists of stainless steel flange, Nickel rupture disc, PTFE ring gasket
• Meets AAR requirements
• Non-fragmenting design
